Jaipur Widely known as the
'Pink City', the Jaipur was founded in 1727 A.D by one of the greatest ruler Jai
Singh II. Jaipur is surrounded by hills on three sides, crowned by
formidable forts and majestic palaces, mansions and gardens. J aipur
is the only city in the world, which is sub-divided in to nine rectangular
sectors symbolizing nine divisions of universe. Jaipur is the first
planned city designed in accordance with 'Shilpa Shastra'- epochal

Hawa Mahal Jaipur :
Built in 1799, by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh, is the most recognizable
monument of Jaipur. The 5 storeyed stunning semi-octagonal monument having
152 windows with over hanging latticed balconies is a fine piece of Rajput
architecture.
Jantar Mantar (Observatory) Jaipur: built
in 18th century by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, the huge masonary
instruments were used to study the movement of constellations and stars in
the sky.
City Palace & museum
Jaipur :
situated in the heart of the old City, it occupies about one seventh of
the old city area at Jaipur. The palace is a blend of Rajput and Mughal
architecture, it houses a Seven storeyed Chandra Mahal in the centre,
which affords a fine view of the gardens and the city of Jaipur.
Raj Mandir Cinema Hall
Jaipur: Cinema, as anywhere
in India, remains another major form of entertainment for the people of Jaipur. There are not many cinema halls in the city and a few have closed
in the past 3 years or so, but some among remaining are good for viewing
pleasure. One of them, Raj Mandir, has even become a tourist attraction
and is ranked amongst the very best cinema theatres in the country.
Jaigarh Jaipur: Jaigarh , or the Fort of Victory, is a rugged fort built in 1726. The
world's largest cannon on wheels is to be found here. The fort houses a
museum and provides some excellent views of the Amer Palace.
Amer jaipur :
Set in a picturesque location, Amer is a fascinating blend of Hindu and
Mughal architecture. Built in the 16th century by Raja Man Singh, it
sprawls on the hillside. Built in red sandstone and white marble, the
palace complex has some very interesting apartments, the likes of which
are not to be found anywhere else in the country.
