ITINERARY NO. 14                                              “TRANQULITY HIMAL”

NJP RAILWAY STATION / BAGDOGRA (IXB) AIRPORT – KALIMPONG (01 NIGHT) – GANGTOK (02 NIGHT) - PELLING (02 NIGHT) - DARJEELING (02 NIGHT) - NJP RAILWAY STATION / (IXB) BAGDOGRA AIRPORT 

DAY 01 - ARRIVAL NJP RAILWAY STATION / (IXB) BAGDOGRA AIRPORT - KALIMPONG

On arrival at NJP Railway Station / (IXB) Bagdogra Airport, you will be met by our local representative at who will assist you to board your vehicle to Kalimpong (85 Kms / 03 Hrs). Check in and over night at Hotel.

DAY 02 - KALIMPONG - GANGTOK

Today visit to Flower Nurseries, Durbin Dara Hills & Jang – Dong - Palriffo Brang. Transfer to Gangtok (85 Kms / 03 Hrs). Check in and Overnight at Hotel.

DAY 03 - GANGTOK

This is a day excursion to Tsomgo Lake (departure in the morning)- situated at a height of 3,780 meters, with an average depth of 50 feet. The cool water of the Lake is perfectly attuned with the scenic beauty around. Return Back to Gangtok.  Overnight at Hotel.

DAY 04 - GANGTOK - PELLING

Transfer to Pelling (116 Kms / 5 Hrs). Check in and Overnight at Hotel

DAY 05 - PELLING

After breakfast we drive to Yuksom (35 Kms / 02 Hrs) on way visit Khecheopalri Lake, it is one of the sacred Buddhist mountain lake and it is believed that whatever is wished in front of the lake comes true. Myth is that when a leaf falls on the placid clear water surface, it is picked by a bird. A further drive takes you to Yuksom (the meeting place of three monks) - the first capital of Sikkim. This was the place where the first Chogyal (a ruling dynasty in Sikkim) was crowned. Evening Back to Pelling and Overnight at Hotel

DAY 06 - PELLING - DARJEELING

Transfer to Darjeeling (125 Kms / 5 Hrs). Check in and Overnight at Hotel.

DAY 07 - DARJEELING

Early morning tour to Tiger Hills (at around 4 AM) to view sunrise over <<Kanchendzonga> <Peak>> (subject to clear weather). On way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop. After breakfast go for a half-day sight seeing of Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park  & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday),  Tenzing & Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self -Help Center (Closed on Sunday) & Tea Estate. Afternoon visit to <<Rock Garden & Ganga> <Maya> <Lake>>. Overnight at Hotel.

DAY 08 - DARJEELING - NJP RAILWAY STATION / (IXB) BAGDOGRA AIRPORT

Transfer to NJP Railway Station / (IXB) Bagdogra Airport, (100 Kms / 03 Hrs) for onwards connection
